  2. 10th Annual Salute to Excellence Awards Luncheon and Scholarship Fundraiser

    On October 14, 2017, 11:00 am - 2:30 pm, the Concerned Black Women (CBW) will hold its 10th Annual Salute to Excellence Awards Luncheon and Scholarship Fundraiser at the Rod 'N Reel Restaurant in Chesapeake Beach, MD.

    The CBW luncheon will salute and honor African American women of excellence in Calvert County. CBW will celebrate the accomplishments and talents of these women.

  3. CBW Sweet Frog Fundraiser Night

    A Big thank you to everyone that came out tonight to support CBW's Sweet Frog fundraiser night. Special shout out to all CBW Members, Co-Founder Annette Funn & her husband Malcolm Funn, President of CCMBA Dawn Tucker, and the ladies of Tri-County Maryland Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta, Inc. We even had our scholarship winners, Jasmine & Martese come out to have a sweet treat! We would also like to thank to the Prince Frederick location of Sweet Frog!

  4. Community Shred Day

    CBW was a Co-Sponsor for a Community Shred Day on April 20, 2013. The event was quite a sucess and not only provided shredding services but also provided information on safely disposing of documents to prevent identity theft. Shred Day Event Flyer
